Historical Data since 2001

The central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) moved into new territory with the introduction of bowling as a varsity sport for women. Schools in the conference were divided into two divisions, Eastern and Western, with divisional winners meeting for the conference championship. The first conference championship was held in Raleigh, North Carolina with North Carolina Central University winning the first-ever bowling championship. Fayetteville State University, after winning the Western Division title, finished second.
